During our last exhibition in the Greenfield Gallery we were visited by a group of adults from Community Arts Project Darlington, who joined us for some needle felting! The fantastic exhibition “Possibilities of Paint” by Debbie Bell and Rachel Sharp provided some interesting inspiration, and with guidance from Gallery & Programme Assistant Anna Cole the two groups created original needle felted artworks. The colourful and creative pieces the groups made are now on display at Greenfield Community Arts Centre in the reception area. If you would like to see them for yourself we are open Monday – Thursday 10am – 9pm, and Friday 10am- 4pm, at the moment we also have an exhibition of work by textile artist Catherine Howard in the cabinets.
We would like to say a big thank you to Laurence Ward and Barbara Baker for their support of the workshops, and the adults who came and created fantastic artworks! (Pictured: Barbara Baker, Linda Hodgson and Emma Watson).
