Friends of West Park are slowly getting on top of cleaning the small lake and persistence will eventually clear it.
The lower Boating Lake however  is in a terrible state and needs a lot of attention particularly before the Cutting Loose event this month.
We need volunteers with lawn rakes and wellies/waders to perform a blitz then we may be able to stay on top of it.
