Much of what the new Autism Centre charity offers to the Aycliffe community will have no charge attached such as the Toddler Group currently running on a Tuesday morning. This is a project for toddlers whose parents suspect they may have autism or learning difficulties.
There does not need to be any formal diagnosis to take part. and there are still spaces on these sessions left and we would welcome parents from the local community to take advantage of this offer.
Research shows that the right intervention at an early age can make a massive difference to a child’s development.
The Centre is also now in a position to offer use of their splendid sports hall which is available to hire. This is a fantastic facility with easy parking and as yet most times are available. We are happy to talk to any group that feels they could make use of this space.
It has 3 Badminton Courts a Tennis, Netball and Basketball Court. 5 -a-side Football can be played and there are 2 curtain dividers. The hall is fully lit and heated.
We are delighted to be able to
offer available evenings and weekends for private parties and celebrations plus all manner of sporting activities. For more information and to book call 0191 4109974 or visit info@ne-as.org.uk
