Local youth theatre group “The Tearaways” are about to start auditions and rehearsals for their next production which will be performed in late June, and will be their musical adaptation version of “ Dirty Dancing “, everyone’s favourite dance musical.
A spokesperson said  “The group is on the lookout for young people aged 11 to 19 years of age in the Newton Aycliffe area, who can Sing, Dance or Act, or are willing to learn, and who would like to be this production.
We are also needing extra volunteer choreographers for the show too, as this will be a large production  and a complete change in style of dancing and music from what the group have previously done for 17 years. “
