Woodham Community Centre helped host a fun day for youngsters who are carers for either a parent or sibling.
Organised and funded by Family Action a Charity that since 1869 has provided practical, emotional and financial support to children and families in England.
Through over 100 different services they help over 45,000 children and families every year. Children, some as young as 8 years old, enjoyed a variety of fun activities and entertainment which included Judo, Circus juggling skills, Computer animation, and Tile painting and these were just some of the activities that everyone had a go at.
A great time was had by all, and a buffet lunch helped top up energy levels for the afternoon session. It was marvellous to see children who give so much having a fun day just for themselves.
