Stepping Out Dance School from Aycliffe took 23 of their dancers who have been training hard in their home Aspire Studios, to the East Coast Championships in Cayton Bay.
The dancers competed in Solo Fast & Slow events, pairs Fast & Slow events, trio fast events, Street & teams! After weeks of insane training 6 days a week preparing, the hard work sure did show when they bagged an amazing 130 trophies and 35 team medals.
This consisted of 49 x 1st places; 40 grand final sashes (9 awaited from the promoter not pictured); 39 x runner up places; 11 x 3rd places; 15 x 4th places; 9 x 5th places; 6 x 6th places; and 1 x 8th place.
What a sweep! Dance Teacher Clare Walton could not be prouder and would like to thank the whole Stepping Out Team & Dance Family for their dedication and support in achieving such an impressive result!
There is no rest for the team however as they now work over the next few weeks towards their annual show DANSPIRE which will be staged on 9th and 10th November, tickets priced £6.
