Last Wednesday Durham County Council’s Cabinet met for the second week running, such is the volume of business. A huge amount of work is being done by the Cabinet at the moment; the reports for this meeting alone comprised 594 pages.
1. The County Durham Plan – this is the strategic plan which will set the direction of the County’s economy, housing, retail, transport and mineral extraction etc. for the next 20 years.
