Weddings are big business in Darlington, not least for Craig Maddison and his wife Vicky, whose Darlington Weddings business is set to expand this year, hosting wedding fayres at some of the leading venues in the region. The local wedding publishing and events company has recently partnered with Walworth Castle and the Holiday Inn Scotch Corner Hotel to help run the events, which are held twice a year and regularly attract large volumes of customers from all over the region.
DarlingtonWeddings.co.uk was setup by Craig Maddison in 2005 as a hobby and potential small lifestyle business. Vicky joined in 2011, helping to expand the business events with her events planning skills. Since then the duo have run successful wedding fayres at Redworth Hall, Hall Garth Hotel and Bannatyne Hotel in Darlington.
Craig also launched a successful Darlington Weddings magazine, which has grown significantly in 2 years and has now matured into ‘Unveiled’, a regional bridal magazine for the North East.
