Dear Sir,
There is a number of drivers who drive around on dark mornings, evenings and low visibility, without lights on their vehicles. Some drivers seem to think because their dashboard lights are on their car lights are on, not always the case.
Also day light driving lights are no good because the rear lights on most vehicles aren’t on, only the front lights, and older vehicles don’t have day lights, Nor do all vehicles have automatic headlights. Headlights are not only there for you to see, but to be seen.
Front and rear fog lights, should only be used in bad visibility, snowfall, heavy rain and spray and of course fog. Rear fog lights only when visibility is below 100 metres and not to blind the driver behind.
I would also like to mention the parents and guardians who take their children to school, rather than drive around without a minute to spare, causing absolute mayhem, set off earlier and think about where you are going to stop and/or park, not only for the safety of your children but others as well.
A concerned Parent/Grandparent.
