Twenty five students from Woodham Academy recently competed in the Southwest Durham County Cross Country Championships, held at Barnard Castle School.
Students from years 7, 8, 9 and 10 all featured in the team, and were a credit to the school, consistently demonstrating our core values of: Aiming High, Working Hard, Never Giving Up and Being Kind. Students had to run various distances, depending on their age groups, ranging from one to two miles. Overall, students placed considerably well.
Year 10 Daisy D gained third place in the intermediate girl’s group, which was made up of up to 50 Year 10 and 11 girls. We are extremely proud of the students who represented Woodham Academy.
