Winter is approaching, long dark evenings and an opportunity to learn to play Bridge is here now, to invest in a great social and rewarding card game where members play into their 90’s.
Learning to play at St. George’s Bridge Club on Whessoe Road, Darlington enables you to play at both Aycliffe and Darlington clubs, which I do three or four times a week, on a Monday night at The OakLeaf and at Darlington some afternoons and evenings. At both venues we play in very light and pleasant surroundings.
At Aycliffe you have to be able to play and would need a partner which we could possibly find for you. £5 yearly membership and £2 each session.
Lessons are starting at Darlington on Wednesday 18th September at 7.00pm. The first few sessions would be free taster sessions, then £60 for twelve lessons.
Feel free to contact me for a chat at any time. I’ve been through the whole process and can assure you it is so rewarding, a great value evening, a new lifestyle and something always to look forward to. You don’t even have to have handled a pack of cards – all will be revealed.
