My name is Brian McAnaney, I am a town councillor and live on Clarence Green. I have noticed recently the decline of Aycliffe Nature Park where I walk my dog and have started a Facebook group entitled ‘Friends of Aycliffe Nature Park’.
I also noticed that Durham County Council are looking to make new ponds to preserve the Great Crested Newt. I would like to ask the community to support us in looking after what we already have in Aycliffe, a Nature Park with a newt and other wildlife population.
