Middridge Village Association are holding their Fete and Family Fun Day on 7th July starting at 1.30pm.
There are a number of stalls including cakes, air ambulance, greyhound rescue, Hays Travel, raffle stall, bottle stall, tombola stall, cosmetics stall, books, CD’s & DVD’s and the bus society. There will also be an ice cream van in attendance. Street food will be on sale outside the Bay Horse pub.
There will be a small number of craft stalls located in the village hall along with tea and coffee and a number of attractions for children which will be free, these include bouncy castle with slide, face painting, buzz mascot, unicorn lol doll mascot, candy floss stall, magic show with mini disco, soft play area with ball pit and balloon modelling.
During the afternoon there will be a dog show with different classes and hopefully a fire engine and a police van for people to view, let’s hope no emergencies occur on the day.
A free bus service will be operating from St. Clare’s church then to the Jet station at Cobblers, onto Middridge, then to Shildon bus station and back to Middridge, this service will start at 1.00pm in Aycliffe and will continue during the afternoon.
