I want to thank finders for getting hogs to me as soon as they appear to be in trouble out in the day. Firstly Jo, Nev and Lorraine spotted a rather large hog out during the day last Thursday, turns out this could have been a female out and about looking for food, hog ate and then went. Quite a positive result. On the other hand, a lovely lady called Maureen sent for me to collect a 500g female and the outcome was not so good, this poor hog had such a badly broken leg there was no chance of a full recovery, it was kinder to let her go.
Three admissions, Ollie, Summer, both responding to treatment, I am not sure at this point if Summer is pregnant, only time will tell, and two little ones out in the day, one is a 50g little boy and the other is a 90g female, thank you all. I am now a member of the sleep deprivation group, then both, along with Baby Bella, need 24 hour full nursing care for the next few weeks.
I am out and about, starting from Sunday, I will be at the Agnew Community Centre fun day, I am in dire need of funds and being out and about will help considerably, especially having so many babies in rescue and poorly larger hogs too that need me to be there for them in their hour of need.
On Sunday the 7th July I am going to the Scout Club Car Boot Sale, please come and see me there if you can.
Thanks go to Jackie and John for their donation, also thanks go to Pat and Fred for releasing four into their support fed garden, they freed Buttercup, Penny, Faith and Arthur. Please wish them happy and safe lives exploring.
Here is baby number one, baby Bella, she is doing well and has company now, which is good. Here are some useful contact details:
