Aycliffe Amateur Boxing Club would like to give a great big congratulations to Emily Denham, National Schools Champion 2024, Emily and team arrived at Northumbria University Sports Centre in Newcastle to defend her schools title from 2023. In 2023 Emily beat Inola Smith from Manchester in the National Final at Guildford in Surrey and in May 2024 had a successful defence against Ruby-Jo de Santos from Islington Amateur Boxing Club London.
Emily trains very hard to get this far in her boxing career with the support of her family and coaching staff from Aycliffe Amateur boxing club, if anyone would like to join the classes at the club the age groups are Kid Gloves, 4 years to 9 years, 4.30pm to 5.15pm Monday, Wednesday and Thursdays.
Junior Classes for 9 years to 15 years, 6.00pm to 7.00pm Monday, Tuesday and Thursdays, Senior Classes, 7.00pm to 8.00pm Monday, Tuesday and Thursdays at Acorn House, Durham Way North, Aycliffe Business Park DL5 6HP.
