Spectrum Roller Skating Club proudly hosted their second Competition at both Sunnydale Leisure Centre, Shildon, on Friday 24th May, and Newton Aycliffe Leisure Centre, on Saturday 25th and Sunday 26th May 2024.
Twelve clubs travelled from all over the UK to attend the three day event, with competitors taking part in a range of artistic roller skating disciplines including figures, free, solo dance, couples dance, duo, quartet, adult and child and club show.
Spectrum Roller Skating Club who train at Sunnydale Leisure Centre, Shildon, had a team of 21 athletes participating. Together they gained 15 trophies and 40 medals, winning the club event with their club routine to Barbie.

Thank you to former Men’s Senior British Champion, Christoph Prior, for performing an exhibition to inspire the youngsters. It really was an awesome weekend of skating fun with our friends from around the UK.
