On Sunday August 11th St. Clare’s Church in the Town Centre celebrates their Patronal Festival and are very pleased to announce that the Revd. Peter A. Baldwin has especially asked to come along and officiate and preach at this Service to celebrate St. Clare’s day.
Revd Peter was a much respected figure in this town over 21 years ago and is fondly remembered by many. The Service begins at 10am and we welcome anyone who remembers Peter to come along and wish him well in his retirement later this year.
Revd Peter was at the forefront of many major changes at St Clare’s, mainly by starting the installation of our stain glass windows and rebuilding a new kitchen in the church hall. It would be lovely to see you at this or any of our Services held in this church.
