Members of Aycliffe Running Club travelled to Richmond to take part in a 3 mile cross country run, the course was off road, with challenging conditions and all members did extremely well. First home for the ladies was Michelle Jane in 33rd position in a fantastic time of 25:01 this was closely followed by Cyd Denise 46th position in 26:08.
Susan Milburn was hot on Cyd’s heels in a time of 26:58 and Susan Clark in 36:22 respectively. Ray Todd was the only male member of the club to participate, coming first place in the veteran over 75 category in a remarkable 38:10 beating his opponent by 7 minutes. Ray continues to be an inspiration to all members of our club and we are proud of his achievements.
