Ava Burnett completed the Mini Great North Run for the first time and despite the rain she did an amazing job and loved every moment of it.
Ava attends Aycliffe Village Primary and prior to the race had been training extremely hard in preparation by doing practice runs around the woods in Woodham.
Ava had people sponsor her (some from as far as Australia) and raised over £320 for Bloodwise (formally known as Lymphoma and Leukaemia Reasearch).
Her parents are so proud of her fundraising efforts and the amazing run she completed and they just want to share this with our local community and thank all those that sponsored her.
