It’s back to the 40’s in the Fellowship Hall at St. Clare’s Church on Saturday 27th October at 3pm.
The hall will be decorated in two styles, the sombre colours and memories of war time, and the bright party style of peace celebrations.
The party will start with entertainment, songs and 40’s tales from Jean Gill; and then dancing with a 40’s flavour, led by dancers who know how to give us a start with sequence dances.
The party includes a 40’s style tea party with tea and coffee, but if you feel like celebrating there will be a glass of wine, sherry, sangria or ginger wine included to start with, and more on offer.
It will be a fun event for all ages and all are most welcome.
Adults £5, children £3; tickets available from Ric Hargreaves 01325 316755.
