Are you 16-19 years, living in Newton Aycliffe? The Youth Centre would like to offer you the opportunity to participate in a Vehicle Education Programme and give you the opportunity to learn about safe and responsible vehicle use and ownership.
You will meet a local driving instructor and learn some basic driving skills, visit Bishop Auckland college to learn basic car maintenance on their vehicle maintenance taster course, as well as gaining an insight into the dangers that you could face through being involved in crashes or by breaking the law.
The course will run every Thursday 10 – 4pm starting from Thursday 4th October until Thursday 8th November 2012.
The programme will also provide you with the opportunity to gain a nationally recognised qualification through ASDAN Activity Award.
