As the national lockdown has been imposed on the UK and my beloved gym has closed I thought this a great opportunity to keep myself active and raise some money for two great causes. I plan to run 100K over the period of lockdown and hope you good people will sponsor me to do so! The funds raised will be split equally between The Royal British Legion and Newton Aycliffe FC Junior Section.
The funds that I will donate to the Royal British Legion will be to help support veterans, Forces personnel and their families who have served and sacrificed throughout the generations. The Royal British Legion provides aid in many forms, from bereavement support to homelessness and everything in between. I am sure you will agree, a very worthwhile cause.
Any funds I donate to NAFC Junior Section will be used to help our local grassroots junior football club, a non-profit charter standard club, who provide the opportunity for children aged from 4 to 18 years to have fun, develop their skills and play football in a safe and friendly environment.
