Woodham Academy has invested £100,000 in brand new, state of the art science facilities.
The initial phase of the development has involved the complete refurbishment of the first classroom in the programme. Work involved stripping out the old wooden benching and replacing it with bespoke units and superior student work stations. Also included in the renovations are a futuristic “teaching wall” housing an interactive whiteboard, along with brand new flooring and ceiling to complete the transformation.
This first phase of the project has provided up-to-the minute learning facilities and is cementing Woodham Academy’s commitment to providing the best learning environment possible for its students.
These new facilities are complemented by other innovations, including an outdoor classroom.
Further plans include the refurbishment of a further two science classrooms as part of an ongoing project to enhance student learning.
