In February Aycliffe Dance Academy entered students for dance exams with the IDTA (International Dance Teachers Association). They had a 100% pass rate again with many students receiving incredible results and feedback.
An impressive 67% received over 85/100 marks achieving Distinction, the highest mark possible and 33% received over 80/100 marks achieving Merit.
Karen Noades, a parent said: ‘I’d just like to say how thankful we are for the energy and enthusiasm of Emma! Katie got fantastic tap exam results and that’s down to Emma’s dedication and that extra mile she goes for students. Katie is loving her dancing at ADA!’
Emma Cox, Principal, said: ‘A massive well done to everyone who took dance exams this year! You all worked so hard in class and practiced your socks off at home! It shows what hard work and dedication can achieve! I am proud of every one of you and I hope you are too – never give up on your dreams!’
Students at ADA are now working extremely hard on their next dance show at The Xcel Centre on the 5th & 6th of July. Fundraising events will be taking place over the next few months to raise money for costumes. A Family Fun Day on Saturday 20th April (10am to 2pm) at the Bethany Centre, Woodham.
