Twenty Woodham Academy students from Years 7 – 10 were awarded certificates to recognise 100% attendance during this school year. It has been shown that there is a strong link between good attendance and high academic achievement. Woodham’s Director of Student Support, Danny Morgans, says, “These students are to be commended for their commitment and effort during the last year. Continued 100% attendance will help them to reach their potential.”
From September, Lorraine Cox, Woodham Academy’s office manager will also take on the role of attendance manager. She will support parents to ensure good attendance at all times.
