On the 17th of September, Alivia Hoy attended the Durham County Council 100% attendance celebration at Emirates Stadium in Chester le Street.
Alivia gained this award for 100% attendance throughout her secondary school education at Woodham Academy. The award was presented by Karen Wright (from Metro Radio) and the Mayor of Durham City.
Her perfect attendance has been reflected on her academic achievement this summer, receiving top academic student award, passing all 11 GCSE’s at a high standard and gaining top grades 9’s in Art, History and Religious Studies as well as 8’s in Maths, Physics and Chemistry.
Alivia now attends Queen Elizabeth Sixth Form College, where she is continuing her studies in Maths, Further Maths, Physics and Art
